My Future Starts With Me

Antioch youth attended My Future Starts With Me at Woodland Junior College on October 6th. We had 15 youth that had the opportunity to talk to Judges, Public Defenders, Prosecutors, Gang Officers, Highway Patrol, Doctors, and the ability to live feed with prisoners. The youth were able to have dialog and ask questions to the Law officials and Prisoners. We were able to learn about gang involvement from the prisoners and Gang Prevention. We also learned about the effects of Drugs with a doctor that talked about the new illegal drugs and their effects. Their eyes were opened to the court system, gang world, prison and the importance of education.
