The Food Bank uses Antioch’s facilities to distribute food to the community; however, this program is not a formal ministry or program of Antioch Progressive Church.

Food distribution is provided weekly on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is operated according to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services guidelines.

Food Distribution Schedule
Sign-In: 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Distribution: 11:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Clients must arrive during designated times based on last name to receive a number:
- A – F: 8:30 a.m.
- G – L: 9:00 a.m.
- M – R: 9:30 a.m.
- S – Z: 10:00 a.m.
Please note: Sign-in numbers will not be issued after 10:00 a.m. No exceptions.
Come early… leave early.
Distribution Guidelines
- This is a drive-up food distribution site
- Food is provided in bagged or boxed items
- Clients will remain in their vehicles until their number is called
- Only one client is permitted at the sign-in desk at a time
- Clients must maintain six feet of distance while in line
- Line management during distribution is limited to ten (10) clients
- All clients are required to wear a mask
Each individual seeking food must be present and sign in personally to receive assistance. Food cannot be held or pulled for others.
We reserve the right to refuse service in accordance with Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services policies.
Program Purpose
The purpose of this food distribution is to supplement the nutritional needs of individuals and families in the Meadowview and South Sacramento area. While Antioch Progressive Church provides the space, the food distribution itself is administered under the direction and requirements of Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.
